“Kumba” means “Roar” and that is exactly what this coaster is designed to do. You first ascend almost 150 ft (actually, it’s 143 ft) and then you go into a 135 foot drop. You speed up to an amazing loop. That is followed by tons of corkscrews and loops, all ending in a cave finale.
From anywhere in Busch Gardens theme park (Tampa Bay), you can hear the “roar” of “Kumba” as it travels over the monster track.
