If you don't live in Florida, getting a job immediately can be tough because they consider the state to be too transient. It took 6 months for me and I eventually had to go through Kelley Services as temp to get started. This is also a big 'retirement' area. so you might want to do some job searches first. Before I moved back to Texas, I started doing google searches for "jobs in xxxxx".
